Females and Ecosystem Degradation

Females and our Ecosystem play an enormous role in our life. From bringing out life into the world to sustain life.

Now a days the degradation of females and our ecosystem is a huge problem that has been ignored for the one and simple fact that we live in a capitalist society that will eventually lead to mass extinction.

Females refuse to bring children into this world because they are not sure if life could be sustainable later on if the ecosystem keeps on being degraded.

Food justice will be impossible to sustain and minorities will be the most affected since wild fires and mass extinction could lead to people losing their homes and animals losing the habitat.

Amazon’s Wildfires

Our ecosystem is being degraded, burnt and exploited just like females in the present years. Females are supposed to bring life into the world but now days not every female wants to bring a child into this world. Climate Change is undeniable, the green house gas emission will cost the lives of many people, not only because it leads to catastrophic events but it destroys fundamental life on earth like insects, coral reefs, the burning down of trees. In August, 2019 wildfires took place in the Amazon, in Brazil and is suspected that they have been started by farmers and loggers clearing up the land for crops or grazing. Amazon is like the lungs of our planet and is being destroyed by humans. In order to clean the land and be able to cultivate. This matters because the Amazon is the largest rainforest in the world and a vital carbon store that slows down the pace of global warming. To date the size of the area burned is 1.5 times the size of the state of Connecticut (approximately 5.3 million acres of land),” NASA said. And capitalist are the not seeing the bigger picture or they just refuse to listen. Politicians are only concerned about getting money by destroying the ecosystem. If climate change keeps on growing it affects everyones future . It is already being a problem and this is why in the present years population is not as high anymore because some females think twice before bringing children into this world.

Climate Change Strike

After attending the climate strike on Friday September 20th, 2019, in Downtown Manhattan and feeling the stamina of the audience either chanting, making a call and respond and the unity of the different people with different signs and posters, it inspired me to investigate further. We are all part of the problem and we should all come together to be a part of the solution. That’s what intrigued me to understand further about the leaders behind the curtains that could drive for a change and the scientists invested in the need for change before it gets worse.
